I discovered an artist, Jean Haines, who does incredible “atmospheric” watercolors. I’ve been practicing some of her exercises. Just wanted to mention that I’m going to write my comments on last week’s work tomorrow along with this week’s.

You sure have the “atmospheric” feeling, very nice.

Just lovely. You did an amazing job simplifying
I tried copying this painting in her book. (I actually have a couple of her books). She has various exercises in them, and I’m attempting to learn the atmospheric approach. She’s really inspirational!
Delicate Angels softly floating through the sky
I love Adrienne’s description, and I totally agree with it.
I love this look! I went to Jean’s site… inspiring. I love the way your daffodils melt down the page… they seem like they are drifting in space. Your sensitivity comes through.
This is “you”! Just beautiful!

I agree, just beautiful and I love how the flowers appear to be floating and melting into the sky too. Sounds like an excellent exercise.
