While I have my oils out, I’ve been trying to finish up some paintings that have been sitting around for ages.  This is one I pretty much copied by Joan Fulton, but it was good practice in abstracting flower shapes…suggesting a floral painting.

This is a bit wonky, but I’ve been wanting to try an abstracted background with a still life of sorts.  I was inspired a bit by a painting on Pinterest for the background.
