I relaxed a lot more today and didn’t put the pressure of making a painting on myself. This was just playing, but I thought it had a landscape feel, so thought I’d send it. It was done over an old painting with a limited palette.

This is in no way a finished painting, but since I haven’t posted in a while I thought I’d send it. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but I used acrylics on canvas and I really like the way the canvas takes the paint…not those hard edges and sheen you get with a board....

This was basically a throw away board, but I ended up working on it so I would have something to post. I did some glazing and just had some fun. It made me realize that its the surprises and not knowing that I enjoy about painting this way.
