#1 This is an old painting but I’ve always liked the vase for some reason.  So I started over on the flowers.  Hopefully the style of the flowers is in keeping with the vase .

1. This was done along with the one I posted last week. 2.  I worked on painting loose, semi abstract, “sloppy” flowers this week.  I had some lisianthus to look at, but this was the most successful one, I’m afraid.  I’ll keep working on it....

1. I started with some collage pieces I had made which made the start easier.  You may or may not see the botanical focus…I did intend for it to be botanical.  I really like the looseness and energy of this one and think I will continue to use this process..  it feels...

My challenge is fairly loose.  I plan to paint every day.   I’d like to focus on color, mark making and abstracting florals.  I would like to do some mark making and experimenting in a sketch book.  I am going to quiet my inner critic and not expect finished...
