I love the big design shapes and colors in #7. The save white pieces of light have wonderful ragged edges that are really compelling. I think this “painting faster” that you’re doing, made a clearer path to what was important to you. It works for me the viewer as well. Yes!
It’s gentle and beautiful. The outcome of this process has a certain freedom to it that seems to have some elements of abstract painting. I can’t wait to try it.
These all have such a nice loose “washy” effect which you can only get with watercolor. This also enhances your subject matter so well. I love the fruit in #7. The subtle value and color changes in the shadow and the contrast of the reflections is beautiful!!!!

I’m having trouble commenting because I like them all. The delicacy of your watercolors are so clean and lovely-in all of them!
I agree they are all so loose and clean. For some reason #6 is my favorite- I love the juicy drips
I love the palette you use for all and your feeling for the subject. My favorites so far are the ones I feel are “close ups”.

I could only bring up #5, and it is lovely! To achieve such results painting “quickly” is totally amazing.
