This is a mixed media piece, made by putting gesso over a bad painting and then seeing what else I could do to it.

This is reminiscent of a timeline to me. The various verticals in different rhythms, vertical script symbols, varying color and value backdrops give me the feeling of the passage of time.
This has night time city energy with tall buildings and bright signs. You turned into a good painting!
