This is a mixed media painting. It’s basically watercolor with marks in watercolor, paint pen, and acrylic. The corners that look embossed are acrylic paint mixed with extra heavy gel medium and scraped over a stencil with a palette knife.

You totally amaze me with all the different techniques you use and how creative you are with each of them. Lovely piece.
Your marks bring the eye all around and thru the painting and contrast so well with the washy watercolor. Your black marks are such a nice contrast to the rest of the painting. I really like the combination of watercolor and mixed media techniques.
