One of the lessons in my current class was about abstract expressionism. I liked Mark Rothko’s color fields work, so I gave it a try. I couldn’t manage to get a border around the outside on this one though. Most of this print was done on the gelli plate, and I added the collage later. I didn’t expect it to be so dark, but I liked it, so I also added a silver line just to break up the darkness.
