This is a little 8×8 painting that came together very quickly. I started out with a piece of handmade collage paper which gives it the white outline

I see an iris surrounded by beautiful colors and shapes, with the white outlining some of them. I also like how the painting is lighter at the top, giving it an airy quality. Don’t you love it when it comes together almost on its own?

I love the movement and of course I see a sea turtle swimming to the surface!!

I see a turtle too. However, I prefer to see it as a flower!
I see an abstracted flower, stretching to the light. The cool violet shapes against the warm greens are a beautiful contrast.
I see an underwater scene, as well, along with Les’s turtle!
