We feed the birds and it’s a joy to watch them. This is a silly one of them hanging out on the wires in front of the house.

The first one made me think of an “angel” bird, sitting on that tiny branch and with clouds all around. The golden yellow and white color is lovely. In the second one I love how you did the bird in flight at the bottom right. It also looks like they’re having a meeting and a few are late!
#1 is soft with a feeling of calm
#2 says a lot, looks like they’re all looking for their space. I hope the big one on top is a vegetarian and not looking for breakfast!!!!

#1 is a beautiful little cherub of a bird. She is content on her little branch, but her dark little eyes say she is taking in the world.
#2 certainly lends itself to storytelling. The little central red bird is building for the future… the black bird to the left of him looks a little critical… the bird to the right of him is gossiping to her neighbor about the style of house planned. The wise old owl is just listening to the gibbering… remembering when he started his last nest…and when he was doing the same foolish gibbering. Things do cycle and Tis all good.
You are in-tuned with nature. Your animal pictures are always so well done. You have attracted quite a variety of happy looking birds in your yard. The first one is beautiful, pretty colors, happy & well fed.

I love that so many of your paintings tell a story and bring the viewer into your world. What a variety of birds you have at your house!
