Both are lovely. #1 seems to capture flowers growing In a garden, and #2 is not only designed beautifully but painted with wonderful shapes and colors.

I like that you’ve done each of these quite differently. The composition and looseness in #1 is very appealing and you’ve captured the feeling of zinnias in #2…happy and bright and colorful in #2.
I prefer #2 and it might be the way the photo captured the image yet I llke how you captured the richness of the color with the lines contrasting the flowers petals. It lets it still feel loose and almost abstract.
I really love #2. It looks like an illustration in a book to me. Clean lines, bright colors, clarity. Love it!
I like #2 also. Those zinnias are so happy. They look like summer!
Amy I really like #2 as well. The way those blooms dance around in the glass jar, each a unique little performer…. It makes me smile!
They’re both lovely. Nice shapes in the first and bright crisp colors in the second. Nicely done.

#2 is my favorite.
I like the combo of ink and paint and the feeling of a personality and movement in each flower.
