Here is a new abstract painting I’m working on. The parts I really like are the areas peaking out from under multiple layers of paint. I had so much fun working on this, especially using my power sander on it! I like the glazed layers that seem to glow a bit. Not sure about the pod? My eye keeps moving back to it so not sure what that means? The eternity double loop sign I do like but it is definitely a nod from the cvp course I took awhile back with Nicholas Wilton. Would love to know your thoughts. Missing you all so much!

This looks ancient and mysterious to me. Love it!
This has so much interesting history in it. I love all the layers with lost and found colors and textures. My eye travels the loops and goes around to the weighted pod as well. I covered up the pod with my finger, and felt I liked having some weight in value down there. Whether it’s the pod or similar shape who knows, but I like the bit of dark to keep my eye circling and wandering…
