It sure is hard to escape the greens this time of year. It’s interesting to see how many variations there are as my eye travels around the painting.

This reminds me so much of one of Helen VanWyk’s paintings. Your version is just as lovely. The soft violets really make the many greens stand out. And the gate adds loads of charm.
You did a really nice job bringing it all together with the fence! Those pink blossoms popping out give it a nice depth against the cool gate. Very nice composition and it was a majestic day!
Such beautiful colors and looks as though the scene is reflected in a pond.
