The group went down to Ferry Park in Rocky Hill to paint last week. We were surprised by a major flooding of the river!

I think everyone who was down by the river painting that morning would agree that it his picture does not do the painting justice. The colors and especially the reflections of the trees in the flood water were wonderful.
I agree with Adrienne, this is a really impressive painting in person.

You captured the distinct stillnes of the trees trunks submerged in the flood water. We live down the street from the cove and river, and standing before the flooded areas is captivating. Your reflections are beautifully painted.
I love the horizontal composition and the way you use light and reflections to lead the eye in and out of the trees
