I was so inspired after seeing the Fairfield Porter book at your house this past fall that I purchased a copy of the book for myself. I love his work. This painting is inspired by one of his still life paintings. I purchased a 36×36 canvas and had so much fun laying down the paint. It’s unfinished but not sure anything I have made is ever finished 😂
Very nice, I like the energy of the brushwork on the flowers up against the background of more quiet shapes and pieces.
