wow, great job, looks like you’re really getting into and understanding negative space. This is such a great tool to have. Yay.
Les
You captured both the negative space but rendered the lines beautifully, as well.
Nicely done, looks like a lot of thinking & looking and relooking & rethinking are in these pieces.
These look like a very difficult challenge. You’re doing a beautiful job with them. It’s a very valuable skill, and I think you’ve got it! 😊
Go Maureen! It looks like a lot of careful looking and drawing are going on. Well done!
First let me say that Clyde said that you had almost had to evacuate because of the fires, but didn’t have to in the end. I’m so glad to hear that, and hope that things are better now. Also, do you still want a large Pochade for your tripod? Phelps has made one but needs some measurements. I was supposed to ask you months ago, but forgot. If you do, I’ll send you what he needs.
These are really good. bravo for you for getting back to the basics of drawing, I know it makes painting a lot easier and is important to be able to do…say I who doesn’t do it…maybe I’ll start practicing it.
