I’ve decided to narrow my challenge a bit. My new one is to use a limited palate And do paintings that suggest nature and flowers but still with an abstracted feel to them…just a Suggestion of, not rendering of.

I’m glad your class didn’t work out! It looks like you are enjoying exploring and your work looks so strong and confident!
I love this palette. It really works! The first piece is lovely and I see a web strung across the plants. I really like that touch. I also really like the last one. That black line pulls me in. The yellow/green to black section at the lower left gives it balance somehow, at least to me. Very cool!
I like number 2 and I’m glad that you have settled for a while with flowers, it seems like they really speak to you and it’s great you’ve found a way to listen and express them.

I was just looking at Facebook postings on Art to Life and there is nothing that even approaches what you all are doing. Our group is a hidden gem! We are all following our individual paths and are supported by each other. What more could we ask for??
I love the color pallet you chose. They all bring to mind flowers, especially in #1, and for some reason a garden of fresh vegetables #2nd and #3rd (maybe I’m hungry) but they all look yummy! #1 definitely had me at hello! So beautiful!
They are all so beautiful, but I especially love the first one. The red and white petals are exceptional. And the lacey white flower is so delicate. It’s a wonderful painting!

My. Favorite is #2. The green line that twirls through…. A stem or tendril, coming and going, connecting things!
These look like you are immersed and set free! I love it. My favorite is #2. The bold undulating line leads me in and around and up. Beautiful.
