This is a real beauty, and I love your oval format and palette. The bird fits perfectly into it and the colors are almost woven between subject and background. Very lovely!

I was struck by the sense of movement, as well. Your designs are wonderful in all of your paintings.
What a spright and happy little bird! Somehow you managed to give this little fellow personality. He feels jubilant to me. Being surrounded by that big bloom and lifting his wings extra high… He seems to be celebrating the moment.
