Collage using colors I wouldn’t normally use. I wanted to see if I could make it work.

Somehow this makes me think of something that might be called “old fashioned” I’m not even sure what that means but that’s what came to me!
Again, thank you for the demo, well done and really informative, I’m glad the video recording worked.
I see a duck flying in the night sky. Lovely.
Thank you so much for the demonstration. I was able to watch it yesterday. I hope to try some prints.
Interesting collage! The curved lines and subtle colors work together in organic ways for me. Those muted warms against the black and grays are beautiful. Those soft diagonals draw me right to the circular focus. Really nice.!
Love the circles repeating. That texture you got in the black/white area is so interesting.
Also, thanks again for the demo! It’s so much fun! I went out and collected leaves to press for winter attempts, too.
I’m glad you’re having fun!
Deb, again thanks so much for your demo. Before that I had pretty much put my gelli plate away. However, I got it out ad have been making prints for two days. It’s been so much fun. I’m pressing some large leaves and will show you these this week, I hope.
This composition is really interesting. There’s so much contrast of shape and texture. Am i correct in assuming that you do some mark making such as circles and dots after you;ve put the collage toigether?
Hi Sharon. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the printing! I’m looking forward to seeing what you show us.
This collage is mostly straight collage. The dots and circles were on tissue paper. The tissue disappears when you glue the papers on. Sometimes I use colored pencil for blending or even markers.
Happy printing!
