I can feel the landscape in this, rocks and trees, looks like you’re getting it.

I agree. It looks like a cliff side to me, with rocks and moss and bits of sunlight peeking through. Also a vine that meanders along the surface. I really love the strong dark areas. They add to the solidity of the scene.
This says to me also, the solidity of rock. The orange has a beautiful juxtaposition with the warm and cool gray and greens. Interesting linework… Organic.
I agree with the others…. Feels like rocks and trees to me. I think you ARE abstracting the landscape.
