I really had to look for him, but he’s there alright, like a surprise hidden in plain sight! I love the atmosphere of this piece. It feels like I’m on the edge of a deep forest. Very mysterious!
This has all the complexity of the wild…. I’m with Deb, I had to look for the woodpecker, and I looked in all the wrong places! When we look into the woods up here, it’s the same phenomenon… the animal right in front of you can blend in so seamlessly… you miss him.
I love the way you handled all the undulating swirls of blues and grays in this piece… and the bright pieces of orange speak of Autumn. You really expressed the moment!
