In the CVP Course this week we primed 3 12×12 panels, one for play, one as a throwaway and one to work on. We were encouraged to just play this week, so here is my play board. It was fun playing with acrylics for the first time. Very messy, a little tricky, but super fun!
This looks like fun. I like the colors and accents of yellow. Glad you’re enjoying playing with the acrylics.
I love all your different shapes-really interesting. This looks like you’ve been painting abstracts for a long time. Enjoy playing- it’s when the best things usually emerge, like this painting.
This looks like the learning curve of using acrylics will be short. This is fun and playful with lots of interesting shapes. It’s just what we were supposed to be doing. Are you liking CVP so far? Learning to play with and explore the materials for their own sake is really helpful to do. I still struggle with that inner critic, but this is helping a bit! I look forward to seeing what you do in the course.
This is so fun! It reminds me of a tropical island batik… Your colors and shapes work together so well. Play on!
I love this! It’s so liberating to just play!
