This needed something, but I wasn’t sure what so I kept adding things which didn’t really help. Needless to say it isn’t a favorite!

Sometimes they just need to sit for a while, go back to it. I like the shapes and pieces and colors along with the bold brushstrokes. Just a thought maybe just a little more contrast in the middle white area.

I love it! I see beautiful flowers. I like the transparent stem and what looks like a collage piece. Those two things pulled me in and then my eye wandered around the piece coming back. It’s lovely!
I like the brush work and how the strokes pull me into the center. I agree with Les about some contrast in the white piece.
I like your shapes and colors around the periphery. To me they all carry me along but point to the white… It’s almost like a window to somewhere…maybe the future…a place we look, but cannot see. Interesting…
You’re all correct. I don’t know what I was thinking to leave the entire center basically blank! I took the sander to it and may try again!

I think it works, as well. While looking down from a hill top, I see a pond surrounded by beautiful red trees.
Well I personally think it’s beautiful just the way it is! To me the center is like a bright reflection of all the other colors within the painting and I’m mesmerized by it all. It’s peaceful and playful all at once.
