Gemma, I love the textures you have going on here! The sky, the snow on the tree, the big brush strokes in the foreground, all are very successful. This is not what I expect to see from you! Where are the palm trees and the beach?
What a grand tree… You’ve captured a majestic moment. I particularly love the way you did the sky. My eye travels up from those bold brush marks in the snow, through all the ascending branches of the tree to the dust of snow and moonlight… Beautiful!

The brushstrokes of the snow have such energy. Those strokes, the ones of the tree and the sky provide such nice contrast in the painting. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
