- My challenge is to go back over the CVP course I took last year and go back to the basics. I hope in doing this I’ll have some tools to create some more interesting abstracts, with more direction.The first lesson dealt with composition, using value and shape. Not my best attempt, with a huge plain square in the middle, but I will keep at it. The second one I did was wiped out. Tomorrow is another day!!!
I focused on the vase of flowers to the left of the square, and that’s lovely. Also like the Asemic writing and patterned piece.

All the variety of textures included, add so much to your painting.
It will be interesting what new revelations you have from doing this course again.
