This is one of my favorite childhood stories from ‘Winnie The Pooh’.

I see those bees š up there, I hope he didnāt make it to the top. Iāve never read the story, If it has more wonderful drawings like this I guess I should. Never too old.
I too am a Pooh story fan. This is such a wonderful illustration. Question: Is this a copy like we are supposed to do for next week’s challenge or did you do this illustration of the story out of your head from the text? It’s wonderful and so beautifully done.
BTW. I am sending out a reminder about the challenge for next week. Should I have them submit two photos…one of the original and one of the copy? Or, should I have people just do the copy and a few words about what their takeaway was. Or, both. It’s your challenge…
Any thoughts?
Hi Susan,
I mixed up the date, but I really enjoyed doing it so I’ll submit another Children’s next week.
Regarding the original, probably most people will get the book out of the library (I know that Adrienne has already done hers) or may not have the original handy. Maybe make it optional.
I did copy the Pooh illustration. I have a hugh Children’s book library. In fact, I still have my 1955 edition that my Great Aunt gave me! This illustration, though is from a recent collection that they colored.
