This is lesson 1 from Louise Fletcher’s free course. (Third try). It was just to tape off a grid, then paint the paper as if it was one big piece. We had to use three colors plus black and white.

Neat idea. My eyes keep flipping from individual to the whole as I look at it. Nice strong shapes. I love your use of black.
