This is for the challenge that I didn’t get in last week.
Someone gave me a Beaver Skull and I decided it would be interesting to follow Georgia O’Keefee. The skull turned out to be a lot more of a challenge for me and also very interesting. It’s wc and gouache.
Fascinating! And the placement of the skull next to the tree stumps is really cool! You captured Georgia remote
Fascinating! And the placement of the skull next to the tree stumps is really cool! You captured Georgia’s portrait of a timeless, remote landscape
What a great idea! I can see where it would be challenging, but you accomplished it!
I feel like I’m in Yellowstone for some reason. Maybe it’s the beautiful lavender sky, the log pines in the background or the skull by Jenny Lake. Very imaginative.
So creative and you did a beautiful job on the skull- it looks very difficult
You really captured the colors and atmosphere of Georgia’s painting. It feels mystical and makes me want to circle the skull lake and mists… The sharp tree trunk and vertical rhythms lift me upward from the skull, further giving me a kind of spiritual feel, maybe in time?
