I did this in a class recently . It is mostly acrylic , with some do over with oil.
The instructor did hers from a Renoir, to whom she gave credit.
I still want to fix the flowers in the foreground .

This is lovely. The only thing I notice is with the flowers on the table, that maybe the shadow could be just a little less intense.
Really nice.

What a cheerful, beautiful painting! The background and table are well done, and the blue at the top gives it extra sparkle.
Very beautiful arrangement. I love the colors!
Very nicely done Gemma. Your colors in the flowers and background are terrific. I agree with Les’s comment about the shadow of the ground plane flowers.
Wow! that is so ambitious and each flower is so beautifully rendered. I like the groupings and variations of color
What a happy explosion of color Gemma. I just took a class on expressive floral painting with Ingrid Christiansen. I know from the past you too like her. In any case, she suggested if you are trying to express something in a floral, it’s helpful to name it first. Write the name and put it above your painting. I think I would name this one, “Effervescence”. I love those sunny warm peaches and oranges and reds!
