I usually start a collage with just a color in mind and then pick papers to go with or contrast with that. Sometimes I have a theme in my head, but usually they just evolve and a theme appears. This one looked like a harvest moon to me. It may not look like that at all to anyone else. It’s always interesting to me to hear what people see in an abstract piece.
Thank you all for your prayers and concern for Chuck. The tumor on his spine wasn’t cancer. We are very relieved and grateful. 🙏
Harvest Moon is a perfect description, I also see plantings and waves in the ocean which all have meaning through the moon. The lines of blue are a perfect complement.
Such good news about Chuck!!! It sounds as though he had surgery, and I wish him a speedy recovery.
I love the harvest moon! It looks as though it’s shining above a foreign land near the sea with waves breaking. It also illuminates vegetation.
I agree, it’s really very interesting I see the ocean and plants but also I feel like I could be looking at earth from another place.

The ocean, sea, mountain, tree, all seem connected. The three blacks stand out. The black moon shadows, may be connected to the incoming wave. The writing is intriguing… some sort of ancient script perhaps? I’m going to go with the connectedness of the forces of nature.
So happy to get the good news about Chuck!
