I’ve been doing collages in series. This group has 5 x 5 collages. The woman who taught the course I took is now on You Tube. Her name is Catherine Rains. So far I think she’s demonstrating how to make collage paper. If you’re interested, check it out.
This is a great series. I like how you used a bit of red in each piece, draws my eye in.
I like this series also. My eye is drawn to the feather and then moves around.
Very nice.

Interesting series! The feather, what seems like water and leaf, all speak of nature. The paper you used really sets them off. You’ve inspired me for this summer at camp. I haven’t experimented yet, but plan too. Thank you for the info.
This is a really nice series, Deb. I like the compositions very much. Also the contrast of the straight edges and torn papers. The shapes are all different in each piece, but there is definitely continuity as a series.
I have her course but haven’t really done it. CVP is over in a couple of weeks so I want to experiment with collage. I think you’ve inspired many of us in that direction.
I love how unique is while being similar with the feather theme
There is a beautiful quiltlike feeling about the piece. It seems to tell a story about the feathers floating down a stream. It has a peaceful, floating quality.
