One of the first signs of spring for me is when a crocus sticks up through the old leaves and sometimes a little snow on the south lawn of the house and the sun has made a noticeable move to the north coming up earlier everyday.

I love this one! The first thing I saw was a great abstract design, then each of the elements, all representing spring. The leaves creat a nice contrast and depth, too.

I agree with Adrienne’s comment of new life and transition. This painting has a sacred feeling to me. The lifted soil elevates and the circle seems to speak of timeless cycles of renewal. Beautiful!
