What a beautiful tribute to Shakira! The undulating, almost vibrating line is so full of life! The line sprawling upward and outward…at the top floating off…beautiful. A metaphor? Me thinks Shakira is smiling….
I have no idea what you are all talking about, but i do think you did the brick fireplace beautifully. I also like the outlining of the flowers. One can tell you are proficient at drawing. When I try to outline it is very stiff. I guess i will have to practice that drawing!!
Love how you handled the roses, and it will be a nice memory for you. I always admire how you handle pen lines with your paint. Somehow, one is not more important, just enhance each other.
I couldn’t bring up the Shakira painting. Would love to see it sometime. The fireplace is so peaceful, though. I was honored to see it in progress!
