Here’s the beginning of a drawing from my class. Based on John Sloan’s mcsorleys ale house . I find it very relaxing to scratch out a few shapes slowly. Have a fun painting meet up !

Every time I see a drawing like this it reminds me how much I like drawing and sketching and wonder why I don’t do it more.

This conveys a mood so well already! I find drawing meditative too, although my results usually leave a lot to be desired. I think I like shapes more than lines. But this is wonderful! Will you develop this further as a drawing, or will it become a painting?
I love the conversational nature of your drawing. Even in it’s simplest form, I find myself interested in the interaction of characters. The bar and juxtaposition of all the rectangular shapes in the background create a wonderful setting for the narrative. I can’t wait to see the painting!

Drawing is meditative. Your drawing tells a story, there’s lots of interaction and feeling of time and place.

The class is 4 more weeks so it will keep evolving as a drawing
So well done, looking forward to see what will be added over the 4 weeks time.

The gestures of your figures tell a story already. It will be fun to see how it evolves.
