The background and forground (I think that’s how it’s spelled) are beautiful. You’ve woven pieces of color throughout the painting and varied the brushstoke. Your flower paintings are so pretty.
This feels very cheerful to me, and I love the way you’ve carried the purple of the vase into the flowers and background. The bright centers of the flowers really add a lot too.

The loose brushwork of the foreground and background give lots of energy to the painting. I know you’ve struggled with backgrounds in the past, but I think you’ve got it! I also like the soft and hard edges of the vase. Really nice!
