I remember back when Doris was working on an apple a day… I miss her. She was such a good sport, always keeping up with us. She also put up with me… being a favorite model. The painting below was done on the Infirmary porch.
On another note: Happy Birthday Les!
She was focused!

What a very special painting ! She absolutely was a great sport and always up for another painting adventure. So wonderful that she could spend that time at camp with Les. Happy birthday Les!
Your apple painting is a fitting tribute to a very special lady. Iām so glad I got to share those memories too.

Both paintings are great. Such concentration Doris had on the apple š and it came out perfect. Always a pleasure to be with her, she had so many stories to share.
Susan, your painting of Doris is a treasure, glad you shared it with us.

Doris was such a valuable part of our art group. I think we all shared good conversation with her and valuable learnings. Thank you for taking us back to those times through your painting.
Just wonderful! I’m not sure, but I think I drew you painting Doris. Could have been a different year, though. I’m transported back in time…what a loving memory.
