   Brings a feeling to me of being in a quarry with the sky above. The angle make it very interesting.

   I can’t tell from the pic- is it mixed media or all paint? I agree with les. Some strong shapes appearing. It looks like fun!

     It’s all paint except a little piece of collage which I put in the center. I’ve Been making collage pieces with the leftover paint on my palette at the end of the day and have really been having fun with that. It was one of those happy accidents!

   I love this. Your work is one reason I was interested in learning more about abstract painting. I hope you’re enjoying the course with Louise Fletcher!

     I really am. I highly recommend her. We’re now getting into contrast and then color so there is more structure than earlier. Are you familiar with Joan Fullerton. Her work is great too, I think. As you know it isn’t easy, but more fun for me, at least.

   Interesting shapes and lovely colors. For some reason my eye goes directly to the shape of the white object. It has me wondering.
