I finished this and would have done it 50 different ways but I learned a lot by my mistakes. Â Painting with everything moving is such a challenge but what a glorious day painting with Susan. Thanks to miss rumpius for planting all those beautiful flowers! Please scroll down.Margaret and I decided to go for the unusual perspective. She looked a lot more poetic than I. Do you see tinges of “Christina’s World” reenacted?

Beautiful Margaret… you nailed it! I love the gorgeous stalks rhythmically scattered in those greens. The distant beach really adds the sense of place. You captured the feel of the day.
Looking good in your new painting position as well. The pink socks and boots…perfect.
Beautiful work from a very difficult angle. It DOES look like you’re re-enacting Christina’s World! I don’t know how long you painted from that position, but I’m impressed!
It’s definitely a modern day Christina’s World. You must have really been focused to sit in that position and paint! It definitely feels like Maine and those lupine are so beautiful!
