I thought I was done (left) but things just weren’t right. I rethought the colors and decided to try a limited palette of green and red (except the yellow flower) to calm it down a bit.

Margaret, your colors are wonderful. I like both pictures. The table looks like it was just polished the way you have the light shining on it. Simplicity but yet a lot in there.
It’s too bad you don’t have both paintings. They make a beautiful diptych. The one on the right looks like morning sun…the one on the left looks like late day sun. Beautiful.

I like both versions, but you have a soft glow going on in the one on the right, and that’s very appealing. It’s lovely!
