The muted colors really feel wintery to me
I agree, I can feel the cold! The leaning trees in the foreground draw you into the scene!
I love the circular sweep of this composition. My eye immediately is pointed by the sharp dark diagonal tree to the bright orange. Then it’s swept up and around the woods to the rear. I like the way you simplified the distant woods with your scrapes and blended edges. It gives it energy, but keeps your eye moving around the circle pattern, once again to where I began. Love the feel!
