I still like it just as much! I think it’s the outlining and vase shape. You’ve been doing some fantastic work!
Sharon, I truly love your flower paintings! You capture the flowery essence without the need for detailed petals and leaves. The occasional line that suggests a stem, or edge of a leaf… beautiful!!!
I love this painting. Great Colors combos and loose luscious brushwork seem to be in all your flower paintings…you do them so well. This one I find the design element compelling. Your use of the dark outline on vase and ground plane really work. Your pieces of yellow divide your negative spaces in a way that ties it all together beautifully.
