I love all the work you posted this week and I find the ‘unbalanced’ composition really draws me in.
I tried sending a comment just now but it didn’t seem to go through. Will try again! This painting is beautifully done. I enjoy your landscapes, as well. They are so ‘atmospheric’ and rich.
I look forward to seeing all your different approaches… My favorite one from this week is the one above.
The darks that swirl in an arc, make me feel like I’m floating with the flowers. When I squeeze my eyes for the big design, I love the way you used both the rich dark greens interchangeably with dark blues for the big design piece. The flowers seem randomly floating, but you gave it great balance with the three small to the left and the large white bloom to the right. Beautiful color…. Gorgeous painting!
