This painting is striking! The people in the boat are wonderful. The dark boat plays well within the subtle wash.
This painting has a beautiful quiet feel… I can visualize the silent canoe in the darkness. The simple but beautiful grayed blues in the water and and shadowy tree shapes, really speak of night time. The simple paint strokes for the canoe and paddlers…just right. Love it!
