Amy, you have really done some beautiful work this week! I know you said you haven’t been doing a lot of painting, but your style is already starting to blossom.
This painting is my favorite for the week. You beautifully captured the form of the lemon with your color and value changes. The lemon and the carefully placed leaves give it simple elegance. I also like the way you integrate line into the painting…particularly the dark line on the left and on the stem. Unique and effective.
The presentation with that dark paint brush perfectly perched on the side… just great!
