Here’s my version of windy hill after I scraped the gravel off, sanded it down and rethought things in a warm studio! I have been looking a lot at Isaac Leviton, a Russian landscape painter who is amazing. Hope everyone is well and keep enjoying pushing the paint around!

I love this one! The colors and horizontal lines make it warm and tranquil.
Gutsy colors! It’s so hard to see landscapes in colors other than greens and blues, but its so much more interesting when we do!
I love the horizontal bands of rich color. The dulls, against the brights, the subtle color changes, beautiful!
