Who needs brushes?!!! Lovely palette knife rendering and those darks really punch up the color. Nice to see your work again 🙂
The free flow of color and rhythm in this painting is beautiful and exciting. You get the feel of leaves in all their fall splendor and randomness. I also think the tree trunk beautifully contrasts with the leaves… My eye goes there, and rests. I love the way you painted the trunk and the roots… I’m thinking brush and palette knife…
