I have been getting out early on weekends for a couple of hours but when I want to go back to finish another day it’s alllll different ! Here is my field of lupine. I need some lights and darks and the two trees on the right bother me but that’s a problem for colder days!

When I saw your photo last week I pictured you doing this one. It’s lovely. The trees on the right take me down toward the water but then connect to the far bank and my view comes right back around and to the lupine.
Absolutely nothing bothers me about your painting. Like Deb, I’ve been waiting to see what this weeks painting was going to be after last weeks tease.
You didn’t disappoint. I’m drawn to all of it.

You really captured the feeling of Maine for me, brings back good memories, I wouldn’t mind just sitting in that spot for a while.

Margaret,
You have hit my most beloved flower and favored hillside scene! This is wonderful!
