Foreground and backgrounds can be a challenge, seems like you accomplished it as the subjects pop out.

I struggle with the same problem. You found a good solution, because the dark background really does make the fruit show up. Very nice!

Trying to unite all those shapes is complicated. Sometimes I bring color pieces of the background into my subject and pieces of color of the subject into the foreground so they can all play well together. Your fruit are beautifully rendered And I love the overlap of shapes.
