Deb, you are so good at what you do…you’ve painted your cat so well…you can feel the softness. I suggest painting when you get up in the morning and just having fun. Don’t worry about the outcome…a different approach may happen
You did a great job on him. His eyes are mesmerizing! You have been doing wonders with animals… My suggestion is to finish your painting without seeing the subject/photo. Maybe then, you can take the painting in the direction you want. I’ve been doing this lately, been working for me.
I hear about the desire for a style shift and this is wonderful, the expression and the way you got the fur.
Les
This is a cat with a personality and you captured it. You seem very comfortable with your style…
Forgot again!
Tell Gandalf he is beautiful! I love your edges…I feel like I can feel his fur. I also have a hard time taking my eyes off his eyes… they’re gorgeous.

Hi deb, I have enjoyed seeing your work . The eyes and fur are so beautiful , makes me want to pet the cat, so life like , great shadow pattern too.
The eyes have me captured. She feels so alive & soft. Very nice
Ditto to all above…..it is such an unusual angle for a picture if a pet…from just slightly above….and THOSE EYES!
