The daffies look like they’re looking in all directions waiting to make a break from the container, love the feeling of movement.

Rose, I looked at the first picture (not knowing that you sent in 2) thinking – WOW, that would make a wonderful quilt. Low & behold, it is a wonderful quilt. Beautiful.
Then I saw your painting – beautiful again. Love the loose daffs.
I thought it was a hooked rug with those amazing colors. These are just beautiful!
Amazing, Rose. I love that you’ve brought in different fabrics (burlap etc) for added texture and the yellow “streamers “ coming from The flower…so creative. Also the embroidery? On the flowers. I hope this will go into a show so many others can see and appreciate the creativity and work that has gone into this!
Oh my Rose this is gorgeous! The more I look at it… the more amazing details. I see . Upfront, the colors knock my socks off.. richly saturated and translated into such great shapes. The stitch work you did (I’m assuming by hand)… the colors, the burlaps tufts, the tendrils…. This is extraordinary!!!! So, so, beautiful!
