This week I decided to spend a little time and simply be with a flower. It took me two tries to let go control, but then the flower and water took over..

This is a pastel I did at Hurd Park last week. I’m thinking about soft pastel for the older kids and oil pastel for the younger campers with Plein air this year. Experimenting… It has been a while since I’ve done soft pastel.

Rose, Les and I braved the wind at Balleks. We found a place tucked in out of the wind, the sun was bright, and we were cozy. It’s so much fun to be outside again!
